How we work
Remote-first, always
We don't have an office. We never will. Our team works from wherever they do their best thinking — home offices, coffee shops, different time zones. What matters is the work, not the location.
Async by default
Most of our communication happens in writing. We write clear specs, leave thoughtful code reviews, and document decisions. Meetings happen when they need to — not because it's Tuesday at 10am.
Ship weekly
We deploy to production every week. Small, focused changes that we can test, measure, and iterate on. No six-month release cycles. No feature branches that live for months.
Own your work
We don't micromanage. You'll get a clear problem to solve, the context you need, and the autonomy to figure out the best approach. We trust the people we hire.
What we value
Clarity over cleverness. Write code that the next person can understand. Write messages that don't need a follow-up question. Simple is hard — and worth it.
Users over metrics. We build for the restaurant owner reconciling last night's sales, the freelancer chasing an overdue invoice, the growing team that needs real financial reports. Their problems drive our roadmap.
Done over perfect. Ship it, learn from it, improve it. We'd rather have something useful in production than something perfect in a branch.
Our stack
Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Wagtail CMS, Tailwind CSS, Stripe, REST APIs. Multi-tenant architecture with django-tenants. Double-entry accounting engine built on Django Ledger.
