Terms of Service

The rules that govern your use of CashSheet.

Effective date: January 1, 2025 · Last updated: January 1, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CashSheet. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CashSheet.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

2. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into CashSheet. We do not claim ownership of your financial records, invoices, transactions, or any other content you create on the platform.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We will not access your data except as necessary to provide support you have requested, maintain the platform, or comply with legal obligations.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use CashSheet only for lawful business purposes. You may not:

  • Use the service to store or transmit malicious code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users accounts or our systems
  • Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without our written consent
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription and billing

CashSheet offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Free trials: If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days.

5. Multi-tenant architecture

Each organization on CashSheet operates within its own isolated database schema. Your data is physically separated from other customers at the database level. When you delete your organization, all data within that schema is permanently removed.

6. Service availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for all services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.

7. Limitation of liability

CashSheet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual property

CashSheet, its logo, and all associated branding are our trademarks. The platform software, design, and documentation are protected by copyright. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks or intellectual property except as necessary to use the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of CashSheet after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
